בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ אָחָ֣ז בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ וְשֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְלֹא־עָשָׂ֣ה הַיָּשָׁ֗ר בְּעֵינֵ֛י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָ֖יו כְּדָוִ֥ד אָבִֽיו׃
Zwanzig Jahre war Ahas alt, als er König wurde, und sechzehn Jahre regierte er in Jerusalem. Er tat nicht, was recht ist in den Augen des Herrn, seines Gottes, wie sein Ahn David getan hatte.

Achaz was twenty years old when he [began] to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and he did not do what was just in the eyes of the L rd as (had) David his father.
